Your path to the canine partnership
of a lifetime begins here.
Which of PATH's services is right for me?
I offer 1-1 private training, group classes, and pack walks
I've prioritized affordability and accessibility so that all dogs can enjoy
a life enriched by adventures with their human families.

Private sessions are like tutoring. I can teach you how to do everything, I can train your dog to get a solid beginning and set you both up for success; but it's up to you to do the homework in order to be successful. Sessions can be at your home, a public place, or internationally via Zoom, and typically last 1-2 hours.
Dayschool is where I will work with your dog during the day while you're busy with work or school. This way, your dog still gets their homework done. Great for people on vacation as well, to make sure there's no loss of progress due to inconsistency. Sessions are typically 30 minutes and include video updates.
Group classes are for learning how to do things around other people, dogs, sounds, and in new environments. Focus on cues needed for a happy and well-mannered dog out in the world. I have combined the best of both worlds with a pack walk training group class that meets out on a trail for space for event the mildly reactive dogs.

My Methods Work. Guaranteed
I promise to support my clients remotely (text & email) for the life of their dog after any training service. After any program's completion, I guarantee the methods work or we can meet via Zoom to troubleshoot for free.

About Ash
My mission is to improve the quality of life of dogs around the world by creating partnerships instead of submission.
I began training my own dog when I was 10 years old. After adopting my first retired racing greyhound, I began volunteering with recent adopters to help the greyhounds settle into their new homes after a life at the track. I started training professionally in 2008, and have experience working with thousands of dogs of all different kinds of breeds, drives, temperaments, ages, sizes, medical needs, and neurological issues. I am licensed and insured.

I was first certified as a trick dog instructor (CTDI) in 2012 for Kyra Sundance's organization, Do More With Your Dog. I was then certified by the American Kennel Club (AKC) for STAR and CGC testing in 2018. I have been a professional member of American Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), Pet Professionals Guild (PPG), and International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). I graduated with a master's degree in the Science of Animal Behavior (MS-AB) in 2023, specializing in canine, feline, and equine species, to become not only a dog trainer, but an official animal behaviorist. There is no federal or local regulation in this industry, so I hold integrity very highly when doing this work. I also have a bachelor's degree in education, so I am uniquely able to teach the human end of the leash in a positive way, too!
